Re: Strong Justice. Too many locations in time and place combined with multiple characters makes for a confusing and frustrating story.
For example:
W.Texas Plains; 1881
Sweetwater, E.Texas 1931
San Antonio; 1984
El Paso, Texas; the present
Albion, Texas; the present
Sweetwater, Texas; the present
San Antonio, Texas; the present
New Orleans; the present
San Antonio; the day before (?!?!?!?)
The locations in time and place drove me to distraction and took away interest from the 2 main characters, Caitlin and Cort Wesley III and his 2 sons.
Get a grip and another editor to focus your good story line.
I just finished reading my first and only JJon Land book, Strong Rain Falling. I was unable to put the book down until the last period was placed. Would like to be able to buy the rest of the Strong series. Who would carry them as I had not seen any of them until now.
