Happy Holidays from Jon Land!
on Dec 23 in Blog Posts, Normal by cosproductionsI wanted to wish all my fans and readers the happiest and healthiest of holidays. And not just my fans, but all fans of the thriller genre and the authors who have helped define it.
I’m proud to count as my friends five of those authors–Steve Berry, James Rollins, David Morrell, Doug Preston and Andy Harp–who just returned from a USO tour of Iraq, meeting and greeting the troops, in what was deemed Operation Thriller.
Those five are terrific human beings as well as great writers, and there is no better example for the season than the generosity and sacrifice they demonstrated. So in the weeks and months to come we should all hold ourselves to their standard, not just this season but for many more to come.
It’s snowing here in Providence right now, a perfect night to add some logs to the fire and use this keyboard to spin some tales to keep you entertained on nights just like it.
Back to you soon. Jon
Congratulations to your blog. Looking forward to reading it often, you are such a performer – I’ll never forget the ThrillerFest panel “Will you sign my bra_” (or something similar). I have not laughed so much since…
Have a safe and happy holiday season. See you in the New Year.
